Founded in 2005, Dance to the Radio quickly became a platform for new artists from Yorkshire and beyond releasing the first releases from a number of breakthrough acts including ¡Forward, Russia!, The Sunshine Underground, I Like Trains and Grammatics.
The label rapidly developed to one of the UK's fasted emerging independent labels with Platinum and Gold-Selling albums from The Pigeon Detectives, and a Gold-Selling debut from You Me At Six on the Slam Dunk Records imprint.

As part of Futuresound Group Press On Vinyl in Middlesbrough works closely with Dance to the Radio on multiple projects. The labels and artists can access a wealth of knowledge, creative flair and internal rates from the UK's biggest Vinyl Manufacturing facility.
